The Gorilla Glue strain was created by accident by Joesy Whales and Lone Watie at GG Strains. Although the original is a 63% indica, there are now numerous variants that span the entire spectrum of indica and sativa.

Gorilla Glue was discovered by accident after a Sour Dubb was accidentally pollinated by a hermaphrodite Chem’s Sister at GG Strains. The breeders saved the seeds and later germinated them, resulting in one of the world’s most infamous strains. Gorilla Glue is a strain that adapts well to different growing media, ranging from soil to hydroponics. In addition, she is suitable for training techniques, such as the ScrOG method, LST, budding and SOG. In doing so, the strain has a flowering period of about 8-9 weeks. Indoors, she produces up to 550g/m² in optimal conditions. Outside, Gorilla Glue thrives best in a sunny and warm climate. The plants can grow quite tall there and will reward you with 650g/plant or more by mid-October.

Care And Feeding Of The Gorilla Glue Strain

When it comes to care, this marijuana strain does not require a whole lot more attention than an average marijuana strain. Light, water and air are the most important elements for Gorilla Glue to grow well. For an explosive bloom and beautiful buds it is advisable to add nutrition rich in potassium. This will strengthen the plant while the buds develop explosively. It is also sufficient if you stick to the prescribed growing schedule of the nutrition supplier.

Be careful when watering, do this in moderation. Gorilla Glue is sensitive to too much or too little water. It is better to water a little less, a little more often, than a liter at once and then go for two or three days without watering the plant.

A small note should be made regarding Gorilla Glue’s stress resistance. While growing you should avoid all forms of stress, of course you can maximize the yield by applying LST (Low Stress Training). We do not recommend pinching/folding or other forms of trimming. If you do it anyway then limit it to the growth phase and give your cannabis plants at least (!) 2 weeks to recover before putting them into bloom.
